Vom 20.-22. August gibt es drei Tage
die Möglichkeit sich einzuschreiben. Eine objektive Lotterie entscheidet
welche Teilnehmer mitmachen können, da die Plätze begrenzt sind.
Ausgeloste Teilnehmer bekommen von uns innerhalb von drei Tagen eine Nachricht
und eine Zahlungsaufforderung.

Was bekomme ich:
Der Sock-Club setzt sich aus 4 Lieferungen zusammen und enthält je:
- 2 Stränge der Qualität 100% Merino Sockenwolle superwash (150g/574y). Die Farben des Sock-Clubs sind limiert und erscheinen 1 Jahr lang nicht im Handel
- Ein dafür speziell entworfenes Sockenmuster von bekannten und noch nicht bekannten Designern, deren Arbeit ich sehr schätze.
- Jede Ausgabe ist einem Thema gewidmet und enthält themenbezogene Kleinigkeiten wie z.B. Maschenmarkierer. In der ersten Ausgabe gibt es als Zugabe das richtige Werkzeug, ein Veilchenholz-Nadelspiel (2,5mm) der Firma „Holz und Stein“. Ich nenne diese Nadeln meine kleinen „Cello´s“, weil sie aus edlen Hölzern des Instrumentenbaus gefertigt werden.

Jeweils in der ersten Woche des betreffenden Monats. Im September kann
sich der Versand bis zur zweiten Woche verzögern, aller Anfang ist
schwer!
Jede Sendung ist versichert und kommt als Einschreiben.
Was sollte
ich noch wissen:
Wir wollen es nicht hoffen, sollte es aber zu Fehlern im Versand kommen
oder ein Päckchen wird vermißt, bitte ich um schnellst mögliche
Benachrichtigung.
Der Fairnesshalber gegenüber anderen Teilnehmern bitte ich Wolle aus dem Abonnement während der gesamten Sock-Club 2008/2009 Laufzeit nicht zu verkaufen. Ich bitte dafür um Verständnis.

Finally, we’re approaching the first ever Wollmeise Sock Club which will start in September 2008. I have been racking my brain for new colourways, themes and all that comes with it, as well as how the Sock-Club can be a joy to every knitter. The first Sock-Club definitely won’t be perfect. But who knows? Perhaps the small bumps are more charming than 100% perfection. I’m curious as to how you will react the outcomes.
When and where
can I register?
Registration: Here www.wollmeise-sockclub.de
From 20th – 22nd August, there
will be a period of three days in which you have the chance to sign-up.
Due to limited space, an objective lottery will decide which participants
are the lucky ones to be in the club. The lucky ones will receive a message
from us along with the invoice within three days.

What do I
get?
The Sock-Club is made out of 4 deliveries and each delivery will include:
- 2 skeins of the 100% superwash Merino sock yarn (150 g / 574 yrds). The colourways in the Sock-Club are a limited edition and will not be available in the shop for at least 1 year.
- A sock pattern designed especially for the yarns from well-known and unknown designers, whose works I really like.
- Each delivery is dedicated to a certain theme and will include theme-related goodies such as stitch-markers. There will be 2.5 mm / US 2 double-pointed needles made out of kingwood from “Holz und Stein” for the first package. I call these DPNs my little “Cellos” because they are made out of the precious wood that are used to make musical instruments.

the Sock-Club cost?
Germany: EUR 170, including shipping and VAT
European Union: EUR 175 including shipping and VAT
International: EUR 180 including shipping, VAT deducted
When will
my packages be sent?
In September 2008 – December 2008 – March 2009 and June 2009
Each package will be sent in the first week of each of the aforementioned
month. The shipping of the first package for September can possibly take
up into the second week of the month. All beginnings are not easy!
Each shipment will be insured and will be sent as registered mail.
Anything else
I should know about?
We don’t want to even think about it, but should there be any mistakes
in the shipment or a package had gone missing, then please notify me as
soon as possible.
To be fair to other Club participants, I would like to ask you not to sell or trade the yarns from the Club during the whole period of the Sock-Club in 2008 / 2009. Please have understandings for this.
